Huh? you have not provided any system information, not told us anything about your AE version and finalyl what's going on in your project, render settings and whatnot, so pardon me, this is totally useless.
Well excuuuuse me... I wasn't asking for a solution, just whether anyone else has noticed this. No need for the attitude.
Let me make sure I understand what you're saying though. You work on your project for a while, then render it. You close AE, open that same project, start an identical render, and it renders in less time?
I haven't noticed it doing that.
What version of AE (down to the last decimal)? What OS? What kind of specs does your computer have? What kinds of assets are in your project? What third-party plugins are you using?
I can try to recreate your setup on my end to some extent and see if I can get the same behavior.
I was using AE 2014 13.0.0 (now updated so not had chance to test)
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v3 @ 3.50GHz / 16GB RAM / NVIDIA Quadro K2200 / Windows 7 Enterprise
It happened with multiple projects, not just the one, and the last project only had the one third party plugin, Element3D.
Did you update to the latest CC 2014 (13.2.1) or CC 2015 (13.5.1)?
If one doesn't work, try the other. Make sure, if you install CC 2015 that you don't let CC remove your CC 2014 versions: keeping previous versions installed when installing CC 2015 applications | After Effects region of interest
Please let us know if the problem goes away now that you've updated.
No way am I updating to 2015 until it's less buggy and more reliable! (and plugins have adapted to it too!)
Fair enough about the bugginess!
What plugins don't work in CC 2015? All of mine work just fine.
I mean scripts off aescripts.com mainly, as I'm in the middle of projects at the moment and don't want the stress when everthing is reliable-ish right now!
