I have an 8½×11 document, set up as facing pages on a 12×18 spread (viewer spread), with ½-inch top-bottom-left-right bleed zones on the 12×18, but no bleed zone in the center of the 12×18 spread. I need to create 8½×11 printer sheets with ½-inch bleed zones along all four sides. How (shy of recreating each page)?
The correct way to do this is to start over, set up as 8.5 x 11 facing pages and add the correct bleed allowance in the document setup. You can then copy/paste in place the content from one to the other.
You have to set up your document always with the page size of the final folded and cutted product, facing pages and set up a bleed. Export as single pages. As Peter wrote, you have to start over. But copy and paste can cause problems with stories in several frames across different spreads.
Thank you, both Peter and Willi, for taking the time to reply, even if it was not something I wanted to hear.
