I have been using LR for several years, but today I was looking at some photos from 2010 and noticed that on SOME folders, the tone panel changes. Instead of showing the "Highlights/Shadows/Whites/Blacks" sliders, it shows "Exposure/Recovery/Fill Light/Blacks" It seems to happen on all star rated images. Images without star ratings show the normal panel (first one) This also does not happen on newer images. All images are Canon RAW images, but on the JPEG's I've tried it shows the normal panel. I'm using the latest LR CC 2015 edition and keep it current.
Any ideas why this may be happening?
The old (raw) images have the 2010 process, which have different sliders in the basic panel.
Open an image in Develop, and you will see a "lightning" icon under the histogram.
Click the icon, and you can update the image to the new (and better) 2012 process.
Thank you so much! That was it! Guess I have never noticed it before<g>
