    Image Preview settings

Hi everyone. I was using InDesign CS5 and decided to move to CC. Back there in CS5 when I relocate an image in a frame InDesign shows me a full preview of the picture inside the frame but the CC version doesn't do it.

Is there a setting for turn this feature on or is there a problem with my computer?

It also happens when I resize a text frame. There is no preview of the outcome until I release it.

My second problem appears when I do 3-clicks on a text paragraph. I have try 2 or 3 times until it gets selected.

      Thank you for your time.

Many people had a problem of the "immediate" preview of moving pictures in a frame. The engineers changed the default to "delayed".

Go to Preferences > Interface > Live Screen Drawing and change to Immediate.

There's another preference for the triple-click.

Go to Preferences > Type and uncheck Triple Click to Select a Line.

Or you can leave the Live Screen Drawing preference on Delayed and have the best of both worlds. Click and drag immediately and there will be no preview; clcik and hold a moment before dragging and the preview will appear.
