      Hi,

Is it possible to save an image and binary data I download from the server (when my application runs for the first time) on my file system?
So next time my application could also work on an offline mode and take this images from the file system.

      Is it possible on FlashLight?

Flash will be located in user cache and you are at the mercy of the end user cache
settings. You can't make it stay locally if the cache is set to clear away files
in whatever intervals. Unless you give them version for download some off line version
so they can view it locally, you won't be able to assure that the files will stay.

If you refer to Macromedia Flash Lite, than this has not much to do with what you doing.
Flash Lite is the technology specifically developed for mobile phones and other mobile
          devices.
