I have recently upgraded from Indesign CS5 to CC 2015.
In CS5, when resizing an image by holding cmd and dragging the corners, the content shows how it is being resized 'live' by default (the content inside the img/text box shows how it is being changed on every pixel movement of your clicked cursor). In CC you have to either let go of the click to see the resized image or click and hold the selection to see the 'live' change while dragging. This happens when simply moving the image/text box to a new location.
Is there a way to turn on/off this function?
It's under Preferences > Interface > Live Screen Drawing
Thank you so much. I am not sure why they would default it as delayed.
Many long-time users prefer delayed, and immediate can cause problems on systems that are under-powered. It was set to immediate by default when first introduced to make it more discoverable, but there were a lot of complaints.
