I have an image background covering an entire page. Now I put a text frame on the image background and in Text Frame Option, I tick the Ignore Text Wrap option as text won't appear in the text frame until this option is ticked. So far so good. But the issue is that I need to use an image inside this text frame which is set to Ignore Text Wrap. So when I put an image in this text frame, it does ignore the text wrap and I cannot wrap text around the image inside this frame. That's my issue. Is there a workaround? Am I missing something? I am new to ID.
Remove the text wrap from the background image, then you won't need to set the frame to ignore text wrap.
Thanx Peter, I was missing this point
And it sounds like you might have text wrap on by default for all new items. If that's true, you can turn it off by having no objects selected and choosing "none" from the text wrap palette. It's very easy to accidentally set things on by default by exploring the palettes with no objects selected, and it trips quite a few people up judging by what you read on this forum.
