Nothing wrong. AE does not support full Unicode and stuff like contextual glyph substitution. You have to type your text elsewhere and import it as a graphic.
Ok, Thanx for the Answer
why this is happening? i mean Arabic, Hebrew.. and others are fine with illustrator, Photoshop even inDesign,
its our right to be supported!
for instance Arabic has a huge community with more than 20 countries using it,
I mean is there even a logical reason why AE doesn't support it?
honestly talking, the way I suffer from this is unbelievable, using third-party plugins is not that much helping,
please please please fix it
Tamar, what exactly is the problem? it is true Ae does not support RTL languages. I know from the Team that this is an issue they want to take care of in future release. yes this is long overdue BUT what Op is describing is I believe a specific font issue. I have been using Ae for more than a decade with extensive use of Hebrew fonts as Live text. there are workarounds.
so what exactly is the issue you are facing? what third-party plugins?
