You can't set something that does not exists on timeline at
the moment the
action is executed. What you can do is dump the variable on
the root and keep
it there. Say the INPUT has variable name "something", you
will than do:
_root.something="string"; and upon entering the second scene,
the text field
will pick it up automatically. Now, if the Input text field
is in some movie
clip, you will need to help it find that string by giving it
"_root.something" instead of "something" because once in
movie clip, it will
see the string within that clip timeline. _root directs it to
the right spot.
