MAke your changes when no document is open.
IF you have problems with printing, export your document as PDF and print from Acrobat.
I hope you are setting up your document to the final size of a single page as it should always be done.
Hello Thanks for the advice especially at this late hour!
I will change the settings as you suggested. When I exported the document as a PDF, it still printed off centre. …and finally , a family member advised me to check that I was not scaling the image to print.
Between the both of you, my problem is solved.
A heartfelt thanks.
It actually sounds like the page size was changed with the Page Tool.
If you change the Page size with this tool then making Document Setup changes for the page size won't have any effect.
Where is this page tool located?
Poor front-to-back page alignment is a hallmark of desktop printers, and even a lot of commercial digital printers. An overall shift of 1/8 inch (3mm) in any direction is within the design tolerance for how these machines are made and how they detect paper edges. Is your problem more than that?
