On Windows, at least, there is a plug-in file called Camera Raw.8bi
There is a separate plug-in for 64-bit and 32-bit programs. I’d guess you could run the 32-bit PS and it’d be using the 32-bit version and the maximum memory would be 2GB. Of course you’ll get an out-of-memory condition if it needs more than that.
Well I ran it in 32-bit, and it had a memory failure after a few conversions. Why, I must ask, in Satan's glittery anus does Camera Raw need 15.9gbs of my machines RAM to convert photos?
This was never the case before 9.1.
I mean, I'll just go back to a old version of Camera Raw to alleviate these issues temporarily (hopefully that works), but I can't help but wonder who lets that happen...
