Yes, the raw image converter in LR does different things than the raw image converter in other software. So this is nothing to worry about.
Because ACDSee applies different default settings.
However, being a newcomer I'm a bit confused. You are talking about "raw image converter". But I didn't convert the image. I just view them as they come out of the camera.
Lightroom is a raw converter, ACDsee is a raw converter. If the raw file wasn't converted then you wouldn't be able to look at it. Lightroom has its own default settings. And so does ACDsee. If you don't like Lightroom's default settings then change them and save new defaults.
