Hosting scripts on CDN and Adwords

we're testing to create HTML5-banners in Edge while uploading it to Google Adwords. When I embed the scripts, everything works fine. But when I host them on Adobe CDN, Google Adwords gives me the following error: The URL should be SSL-compliant: http://animate.adobe.com/runtime/6.0.0/edge.6.0.0.min.js. Please use a URL without "http:" like this: "//example.com".

Is this a compatibility issue with google adwords, or is it something adobe should fix? I think it's necessary to host the runtime files, otherwise the filesize of the banners would be too high... When converting swf-files to html5, using swiffy, Google hosts all the runtime files.
