I have made a director application that has a series of
learning games. These games have an animated host that reacts to
certain button clicks. This character has been created in flash.
When the application is launched the character animates very
slowly, but after a while it works fine. Is this something to do
with these flash files needing to be loaded into the computers RAM?
If so is there a way that I can preload these files so that the
character doesn't run slowly at the start? Each of the flash files
with the characters reactions are about 600kb. Thank you in advance
for any advice, I'm stumped on this problem.
no its nothing to do with the preloading issue.
look for 32 bit members on stage. and also try to reduce the
animated sprites online.
try to reduce the bit depth of members which neednot be 32
bit alpha etc.
check for any loops that might be going on in the
