Problem downloading Creative Cloud desk app on OS X 10.10.5

Hey all--

When I go to double click on the installer this little box pops up:

It then disappears within a minute with no additional progress on the bar. I've tried so many different solutions from the CC Clean Up Tool to clearing out some stuff in ~/Library. Help???
