what happened to youtube hd suport?

after updating Flash I am now unable to get videos in anything other the 360p. Why is this?

This would be driven by YouTube.  If you right click on the video, does it say "Flash Player" at the bottom or "HTML5"?

I get a menu with "About HTML5 player" at the bottom. I am not seeing where this is on my computer. This must be an add-on or plug-in ? A pop up just recently asked  if I want to update. I could have sworn it was Flash but i got tricked obviously into adding some lame add-on.

I just found the trick to remove the piece of sh. it html5 player.   Very simple.  How to remove HTML5 from Youtube - YouTube
