I am the GM for an internet company that prints posters. We are having issues printing posters created with InDesign. The posters come out with vertical and/or horizontal streaks that run the entire length and/or width of the poster between the photos. The orders are placed via the internet and this problem occurs with .pdf, .jpg and .tif files. Please help. I can be reached at 1.800.781.3187
Are you joking? No one is gonna call you. This is user-to-user forum, not Adobe's helpline. Apart from that, the problem does not lie with Adobe, but your printing software.
I suppose you don't see the streaks when viewing the PDF on screen. Probably the images are in CMYK and not RGB.
There are so many variables to consider here. Are you only having this problem with files from InDesign. Can you confirm that files form Illustrator or Photoshop work just fine? I'd start by printing a test pattern on your printer to determine if this is a hardware issue or a software issue.
