I tried this long ago and failed, but I'd like to try again.
I've got about seven chapter intro pages in my book. Each of these uses a Master Page that has my book title and the page number at the bottom.
But in each case I've added a background colour and text content... and the background colour is covering the book title and page number at the bottom. I can still see the title and page number, but they're not distinct.
Is there an easy way to keep everything as it is, but have the title and page number show up 'on top' (without getting rid of the background colour)?
On your master page, make a new layer, and move it to the top of the layers pallet. Put your page numbering and title on that layer, and then lock the layer so nothing else can be put there.
Thanks so much. Worked perfectly!
