    slideshow color wash

    Jim Hodder Level 1

I would like to put a color wash in the background of a slide show, and want to match a color in one of the photos. Is there a way to do that with the color picker? When I move the eyedropper out of the color swatch area onto a photo, it changes back to a regular cursor.

      Thanks,

          Hi Jim Hodder,

You can select any color out of the color pop up window by dragging the eyedropper out of the  window and If you know the HEX value of the color, you can type it on the below left hand corner of the box and search for the particular color.

How to set Color wash :

          •

In the Backdrop panel of the Slideshow module, select Color Wash.

          •

Click the color box on the right and select a color from the color pop-up window.

          •

Specify the appearance of the color:

OpacitySets the opaqueness or transparency of the color wash overlay.

AngleSets the direction of the gradient transition of the background color or background image to the color wash. Turn the Angle dial, move the slider, or enter a value in degrees.

Please let us know if it helps.

It momentarily changes to a cursor but once you are in the image area it picks the colour of its location

Thanks. Clicking and dragging the eyedropper was the key. It was not obvious to me. Thanks very much.
