Projects created with footage from shared CC Libraries lose the connection to the footage when opened on other computers, even if the library is available there as well.
When someone in our team creates a project using shared CC Libraries, all the library footage is missing when opened by a different user or on a different computer (same user on old/new workstation ran into this today) that also has access to the library. There doesn't seem to be a way to fix/re-link this easily. Any ideas on how to handle this? Should we just stay away from CC Libraries for now?
Make sure that the Libraries folders on each computer has the same path from the user folder. See if that helps.
They should have the same paths, as they are all default installations of CC 2015 - I'll double check tomorrow. We circumvented the problem by using collect files, which seems to work fine. But is a very unnecessary workaround and a serious speed bump when we're all on the same servers and are sharing the same libraries. In any case, this is a pretty serious flaw in an otherwise smooth new workflow.
Paths are all the same relative to the user folder. I've submitted a bug report to Adobe about this.
