To what software is it a license? Please include the exact version. Also whether it is a subscription, or not.
It's Adobe Acrobat X Pro Version 10.0.0.
Ok, I don't think that can be a subscription.
Right, this isn't what Adobe call a transfer - that's to do with transferring your license to someone else. This is just reinstalling. The steps
1. Have your disk or original download ready. Have your serial number.
2. If it was an upgrade, have your older serial number, the product before.
If it seemed to install OK.
5. Deactivate on the old computer.
6. Activate on the new computer.
(The reason for this late deactivation is so you aren't left without a working copy).
I see, thanks.
Is there a way I can retrieve my serial number from Adobe as I can't find it anywhere?
Hi, when I go to the link to re-install the software on my new computer, which I was given by Adobe Chat Help (Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X ), and I click on the 'Acrobat X Pro Installer' and then choose the correct version for my mac, the page it opens says 'Access Denied'? I have the serial number from my original installation, so just trying to download it onto my new laptop?
Is there a way to transfer Adobe Acrobat X Pro Version 10.0.0. from one computer to another within the same network without the actual installation disk? This was bought years back and as a multi-license product?
We wish to make it available on another computer in another department and remove it from the computer it is actually installed on?
You cannot transfer software, only install it. The retail product can be downloaded from Adobe, but the multilicense product is only available to the license coordinator.
