I have a project which has been around the block a few times and various people have all added their advanced scripts to the mix. Now the project has so many advanced actions in it it is difficult to know what is being used and what is not - any way of simply getting rid of the scripts that are not being used? Simple function like getting rid of the unused variables would be great!
Thanks.

Which version do you use? There is a Usage button in the Advanced Actions dialog box, just checked it in version 7, 8 and 9. Are you on an older version perhaps?

Hi, This only works for the 'single' action you are looking at. I was wondering if there is a way to delete 'all' unwanted scripts at once rather than looking through individually etc. When you choose "Execute advanced action' there is a list - mine is huge so looking at them one by one would take too long.
I'm using version 9 by the way.
Thanks.

Sorry, no way. That is one of the reasons I'm using shared actions as much as possible. They show up in the Library, you see the usage immediately, delete them. Of course, that is not helping you. House-keeping is something most users forget...

Okydoky, many thanks for the response in any case. Would be great if Adobe added this feature as I'm sure the system can see what is and what's not being used the same as the variables etc.
Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Crossing your fingers is NEVER going to tell Adobe about your idea for an enhancement.
If you think this is really important, log it as an enhancement on their website form provided for this purpose. Otherwise it's NEVER going to happen.
