I wonder if there is a way to protect my custom stamps that added to pdf document, the stamp is an image file, I need to avoid copping, snipping even moving the stamp in the document from one location to another, is there a way to make the stamp part of the pdf document so it can't be edited or removed/used by someone else?
Do you know how to secure a PDF for text and images cannot be copied?
Stamps are annotations or markups but appear like an image. You can flatten a PDF and make the stamp part of the content of the PDF and no longer an annotation.
If you secure the PDF form extraction, there is nothing to prevent the PDF from being printed and scanned which would also make the scanned image editable.
Have you considered copyrighting your stamps? Talks to an intellectual or copyright attorney about this. You will need to defend or pursue any abuser of you copyright.
If you put a stamp on a document of any kind, then it is the work of SECONDS to save a copy if it shows up on screen. Do not rely on the visual appearance of anything these days. If you want to prove the authenticity of a document you use digital signatures - where the important bit is invisible, and there might be a stamp you must ignore.
