Lightroom CC version, Using Windows 10 and it gives a message to run a compatibility check which then says it is incompatible! Program is freezing and just doesn't respond to anything other than a force shut down.In the Develop module, can be different actions that cause the problem, the last one was saving a photo I had just made adjustments to, the one before that was clicking on to the next photo to look at. Did it last night as well and I tried running as administrator which worked fine, but tonight no, even running as administrator doesn't fix it.
In Lightroom, go to Edit->Preferences, then click on the Performance tab and then UNcheck "Use Graphics Processor"
Does the Lightroom goes not responding as soon it starts. If not then i would recommend you to go to edit> preferences and uncheck the options "Use graphics processor" and restart the Lightroom.
I will do that as soon as it stops freezing as I click to uncheck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have finally managed to do it manually. I will see how it goes tomorrow when I next open it. I have checked it and the box in preference is now unchecked. hopefully it will be fine tomorrow
