Recently, the hard drive containing all of my RAW files crashed and had to be replaced. That was OK because I had all of my images backed up on an other drive. The drive that was lost contained images from a 14 day vacation separated by the day. The drive with the backup data had them separated by the card that had contained them. When I used the LR function for tying the catalogue with the raw data, two days were lost. I cannot find the images in the catalogue anywhere. So I am attempting to start over with the RAW images and import them into the catalogue. LR greys them out (refuses to import them), implying that they are within the catalogue. Can someone help me find these missing images? Thank you
Please try the following steps in order to find the files:
1. Note down the file name.
2. Switch to Lightroom Library module.
3. select all photographs from the left panel and select Text under the filter menu and type the name of the file
4. Once you find your image right click on it and click on Go To Folder in Library.
Please let us know if it helps.
Here's how to find images in Lightroom. You must apply all four steps
That worked like a champ.
