I gave you the link twice yesterday in your other thread....
But theres technical issues iNSPITE of those downloads…I TRIED those links
Even Pragya took 30+ MINUTES TO FIGURE OUT- a staff- I know my basic skills but this IS beyond basic knowledge of skills.
FURTHER? I expect someone to fix this issue NOT me.
I didn't download the wrong version
I'd suggest emailing Pragya.
This is a public forum, not a support line. We won't fix it - you will. We might be able to help. If someone has broken your machine, then contact them to get it fixed.
the link to the installer for Mac for Master Collection CS5 (which is what you said youhave, numersous times, yesterday) is http://trials2.adobe.com/AdobeProducts/STAM/CS5/osx10/MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.dmg
She must have downloaded the wrong version or SOMETHING HAPPENED.
Windows cannot be installed on mac.
Then why is my Indesign showing anchored texts?
When I put my hands and my computer in someones hands that has more knowledge than I do- I don't expect the results to be this way.
I have messaged her 3 times before asking for help.
I don't know if there was an error the way she downloaded or what.
But i can't create outlines for my texts or anything without cutting and copying and pasting.
Sure someone downloaded the wrong version or whatever. You are angry and you might have good reason but that doesn't help, because this is a public forum. We don't work for Adobe, we're just fellow users like you. Above all WE CANNOT CONNECT TO YOUR COMPUTER AND FIX IT FOR YOU. So if you want us to help, you have to actually explain your problem IN DETAIL and listen to what we say and try what we recommend. If you don't want to do that and would rather shout into the wind, you can do that instead, but it won't get anything fixed.
I am having a problem with Indesign CS5.5 now after she re-downloaded it. Anchors are appearing on text that are preventing me from manipulating the text. I have never seen these before nor have they ever appeared before while working in this program. Does anyone know what they are, and how to get rid of them since they are preventing me from making my projects?
Thank you very much in advance
SOMEONE Please help me.
CS5 or CS 5.5? Mac or Windows?
Honestly, you are doing yourself no favors by lashing out at us because of your own lack of knowledge. We’re here to help but there’s a level of information we have to have and your information keeps changing.
Get it straight, for your own good.
BTW, you’re looking for support for something that is about 5 years old. This stuff doesn’t come with lifetime support.
Mac OS X v10.7.5
Hi 5Royalty5 high,
The Version installed on your machine is CS5.5 InDesign, which was installed from already downloaded Master Collection you had.
There are few other things:
1) Windows version cannot be installed on your Mac machine. Hence the version you have is Mac version.
2) You had all other products from Version CS5.5 and Master collection CS5.5 already downloaded hence I installed the same on your machine. If you are looking for InDesign CS5 , this is the link for you:
3) For the issue you are seeing with text, we would need more info to help.
Asking moderator to delete this question for me, thanks in advance.
Forum policy is to delete messages only if they are spam or otherwise violate the forum guidelines. We do this so other users in the future might find information they can use in your thread. Are you all set now?
I would like the question deleted. It didn't resolve anything so it won't be useful.
How can I violate the guidelines to get this thread deleted then?
There is no help even offered here except arguing back and forth and I would very much appreciate it if someone can remove it for me.
These links can be download off other sites. They weren't part of the solution anyways.
Im kindly asking for this post to please be removed.
