1. Re: Mask works in movie clip, not in scene
dkmiles Dec 7, 2006 6:34 AM (in response to dkmiles)hmm... I just discovered, the mask does show up when I publish the swf file, but not in the scene.
However it was working while editing the scene before, and it sure was easier to line up without having to publish it.

Newsgroup_User Dec 7, 2006 6:47 AM (in response to dkmiles)scenes are nothing more than the main timeline divided. Nothing different from one scene to the
other in terms of layer and frame functionality - sounds to me like you simply dont have the mask
and masked layers locked in that scene.

Newsgroup_User Dec 8, 2006 9:57 AM (in response to Newsgroup_User)hmmm - so on the main timeline the mask doesnt work but inside the movie clip timeline where the
mask resides - it works.
That's a weird one.
Can you post the FLA? Or email to me?

Newsgroup_User Dec 8, 2006 4:12 PM (in response to Newsgroup_User)just opened your FLA - you converted your mask shape to a symbol - break it apart and it will work.
