    Control sound from a custom class?

      Hello all,

      I'm creating a move that uses a custom class called MapPoint, which represents a node at a point on a grid. Each node has a sound associated with it, and each node can be activated or deactivated, which should start or stop the associated sound. Right now I'm using three arrays in the main flash file, one for the MapPoint objects, one for Sound objects, and one for MovieClips to be associated with each sound (they are otherwise empty).

      I'd like to integrate the Sound objects into the custom class, which would simplify by dealing with the sound in the same function as activating or deactivating the custom objects - but am not sure how to get the sound to play while doing this. Here's an outline of what I'm trying to do:
