How do I change the size of my pages in the indesign program?
Because I created each page independently, once I am able to change the pages from 5.5x8 to 6x9, will I need to enlarge every picture and text box and reformate everything on the page so it is centerd correctly? Is there an easier way to do that than opening every page and manually increasing each box and moving it?
Thanks so much!!!
One method would be to set up a new 6 x 9 file, then use Scott Zanelli's script to place the pages from the oringinal file (or an exported PDF of the original file) into that. You can scale the pages during the import, as I recall, but you may decide you don't need to. see InDesignSecrets » Blog Archive » Zanelli Releases MultiPageImporter for Importing both PDF and INDD Files
Another possibility would be to enable Layout Adjustment, then go to Document Setup and change the page size, followed by going to the master page, and using Layout > Margins and Columns... and adjusting the margins to enclose the same space. Do this on a copy of your files. Things are more likely to shift using this method, I think.
