    links position

Hi! I am having an issue with the links in Indesign. When I update them, or relink them, they change position.

Below you can see what happen.

The image on the left is the position of the link, on the right you can see that after I update it, it changes position.

This have never happened before when I was working with a similar file.

That is crucial to me, please help!!!

      Thank you in advance.

There are two possibilities I can think of that would affect this. First would be the crop option you chose when originally linking was Bounding Box or Art and you've made a change that would affect the size of that area, and the second, which I suspect is more likely based on the scree caps, is that your prefs are set to maintain scale rather than dimensions when you relink.

Hi Peter, thank you very much for your prompt answer.

I don t think that is the first possibilities because i neither know that commands hehe

As per the second one, it seems that I have the "mantain dimensions" option checked..

Is there something else that I can try on this window?

Place another image of the same type, but show import options and check the Crop option. It's sticky.
