Lightroom 6 crashes to the point of being unusable..please help.

I switched to Lightroom when Applesoft dumped Aperture and am having major problems with stability.  Lightroom crashes constantly and I don't know why, but at this point I can't even use it.  My Mac and Lightroom are fully upgraded and have all software updates applied, I get the following message and am looking for help, I never had stability issues with Aperture until I upgraded to Yosemite which is when the dropped the product.
