What version of ID are you using?
For a small amount of text, using any version from CS6 forward, you can create a text frame and hold down the Ctrl/Cmd key while selecting Fill With Placeholder text which will bring up a dropdown list to choose a language. If you choose Arabic I think that would format the text direction correctly for you, and you can then replace the placeholder text with your URDU copy by pasting, then cut or copy from the placeholder frame into your running text if necessary.
If you are a cloud subscriber, you can download the Arabic/English version of ID for free by changing the language in the settings when you click the gear icon in the CC App. I nay case, make sure you turn on the World Ready composer for the text and apply an appropriate language to the text (either install an Urdu dictionary or choose No language, I suspect).
Hi Thank you for your reply, I am using CC so I don't think world Tools would work with this, as when I upgraded it no longer worked.
I have now also downloaded the Arabic Version of ID, its only when I send the proof back they tell me its wrong so frustrating.
But thank you for your help
Did you turn on the World Ready composer and and set the Right-To-Left controls for the text? Did they tell you what was incorrect so you could have a clue how to fix it?
