I have a new problem with InDesign CC 2015.
Whenever I draw a line with a stroke attached to it, it doesn't display the swatch correctly at any tint. When I apply a solid Black swatch to the stroke, it displays as Gray even though I have the prefs set to display all blacks and rich black. So after much consternation and finagling, I finally figured out that whenever I draw a new line with a stroke, it defaults to 61% transparency. This in of itself isn't much of a problem, but it is now a problem because I am draing a lot of small lines and arrows in InDesign to show products. I also create line art in Illustrator without this problem.
Is there any qay to reset the prefs to display everything at 100%, or am I just stuck for now?
Open your swatches pallet, and with no objects selected, chose the stroke icon and change the tint to 100%
So I figured it out.
After drawing another test line, it defaulted to 61%. I then deleted the line, and checked the Effects palette and sure enough, its set to 61%. So without anything selected, I change it back to 100% and everything is fine now. I would think that the palette would default to 100% on everything drawn until you change it for that particular item, and not a blanket effect for everything.
