Currently, the Adobe Document Cloud services (that Acrobat Reader for iOS uses) appear to be unavailable.
Please you go to https://cloud.acrobat.com in Safari (or other web browser). You will see the following message.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
i got a question if you allow me to ask.
does the adobe acrobat pro dc subscription allow me to choose the viewing format on ipad? like i want a landscape view rather than portrait.
Because you have subscribed to the Acrobat Pro DC service, you can use the "Organize Pages" feature to rotate/reorder/delete page(s) and save the changes to the PDF document permanently.
However, Acrobat Reader mobile apps do not support the "Rotate View" feature (that is a temporary change for viewing). Sorry for the inconvenience.
Alternatively, you can use the Orientation Lock on your iPad.
Once you lock the orientation of your iPad, you can rotate your iPad to adjust the view.
Please note that the desktop version of Acrobat Reader supports the "Rotate View" feature (free!).
It looks like the Adobe Document Cloud services are back. Would you please try again to see if you can access the subscription service?
yes i agree, but orientation lock in the iPad adjusting doesn't solve the problem.
so again when i subscribe to Adobe Acrobat pro DC on my iPad, will the feature of adjusting the orientation be available as in PC version?, and can i just apply the orientation i want to all PDFs permanently not temporarily?
thanks so much
If you have the Acrobat Pro DC subscription, you should be able to use the "Organize Pages" feature in Acrobat Pro or Reader on a desktop computer (Windows or Mac) as well.
Here's the other Adobe user forum for questions regarding Document Cloud subscription services.
Hope the information helps.
