Please let us know few things, so that we can fix this asap.
What Operation System are you using.
Are you using Lightroom(5/6) as Standalone Version or Its CC Version.
Also, Please try and update the Adobe Application Manager on your System. Refer link: Can't accept the end-user license agreement and launch product
Once its finish updating, relaunch the Lightroom and see how it works.

Using standalone on Windows 7. Corrected error by downloading updated AAM from Adobe website.
LT running fine now.
