You'll need to contact Adobe directly. In the Learn & Support area select Contact Us at the bottom of the page and then at some point you will need to start a Chat session.
You can install the Lightroom 6 on your new computer and enter the serial number to activate the product. If in case you face any issues doing that , reply back to the post and we will be helping you with that.
I have sent you a private message.
Thanks for the help - looks like it's all working correctly now. Deepak the staff member deactivated the old one for me and now it's working. Thanks!
Then you must of had it installed on 2 separate computers. Adobe allows 2 installs of all their programs so you can have it on both a desktop and notebook at the same time.
Correct, Shootisbond007 - I had it installed on my main desktop workstation as well as on my laptop for quick patch-ups when out shooting. I thought that uninstalling it would "deactivate" it - wrong. So, once it was uninstalled and the disk wiped on the laptop, I wsa out of luck when I installed on the new laptop and could not activate it which prompted this thread. Deepakgahlot was able to deactivate the correct instance and that allowed me to activate on the new laptop. Thanks so much for the help. Tomorrow I'll find out if I have to do the same thing with my Photoshop Elements 12! Fun . . .
