How Exactly do you have your iPhone Connected to computer?

Akash, Thanks for the response to my question. I have been an Aperture user from the beginning and have elected to use LightRoom. I purchased a copy of LRv5. I think prior to iOS 8 I could import images directly from my iPhone. Now iOS 9 is causing some problems.
How do I have my phone connected: It sits in the cradle and is connected thru iTunes 12.3.44. To get around my problem I have uploaded the images to iCloud.com <http://icloud.com/> and then download them to my Downloads folder. What a hassle!
You mention LR mobile. will that interface with my phone?

I forgot to mention that Lightroom mobile will only run with Creative Cloud based Lightroom CC/5.Just checked few devices running iOS9 and running Lightroom mobile as it should,

There must be a Connectivity issue
What I didn’t know is that I must have a CC account. I have boxed sets of the applications PS & LR & ID. Therefore, LR Mobile will not work. I have another way to download images from my phone. I use iCloud.com. The problem is many more steps but it works.
