Thanks for using Character Animator!
If you launch "Audio & Midi Setup", which of the interfaces is used as your default Input/Output? What's the sample rate for your default Input/Output device here?
In Character Animator's Preferences, select "Audio Hardware". Make sure to choose the desirable input and output. What's the sample rate here?
I'll try and find a machine around here with the Intensity card and see if we've got issues with it. In the meantime, you should be able to continue without issue by using the built-in audio input/output on the Mac.
I tried this. Since the program won't see my Blackmagic card for video I ran everything through the computer. Matched the sample rate via the computer output and nothing. Same error. Also it won't let me change the output from 44.1

Can you try the above and let me know the result?
Input: Logitech Camera. Output: Built-in Output. Sample rate is 44100. In MIDISetup Built-in Output is selected with a sample rate of 44100.0
Great. Thanks. So it looks like you have at least 3 audio devices on your machine, your webcam, the onboard audio, and the blackmagic. Also, would you let me know which Logitech camera you're using?
In that Audio & Midi Preferences, can you switch you input and output device to your onboard audio?
To do that, right click on "Buillt in Line Input" and "Built in Line Output" and select "Use this device for sound input/output".
Then launch Character Animator.
Also, in Character Animator, are you able to select different inputs/outputs using the "Default Input" and "Default Output" dropdown menus?
Thank you! That seems to have worked. I'm off to take the tutorials now...Thanks again.
