I'm trying to create a link from a fontawesome icon in InDesign that will launch people's email clients with a blank "To" field, but with a subject line and the link in the body.
Everywhere I go online, I see examples of how to create prepopulated emails, but the issue is creating it in InDesign.
When I select the font and then create hyperlink, it gives me the "Email" drop down option, a mailto: address and a subject line, but no body.
Can someone help me?
You've discovered what can be done in InDesign with an email hyperlink. There is no way to include a link in the body that I know of in a PDF form.
Thanks for your reply. This seems odd to me - there should be a way. Even from the pdf?
I hope that someone may be able to help me.
