I am using lightroom cc and I cannot get R1900 to print what images look like on screen. I have the printer set up for the luster paper I am using and tell lightroom to use correct profile. I am not sure what else to do. the image looks very dark on the printer. This worked fine when I was using printer and windows 7 version of lightroom 4. Any suggestions?
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Generally if the correct printer profile is selected that should make that work.
But as you are saying it is already the correct profile, so I would recommend to calibrate monitor.
Here are the links to consider :
This is usually a monitor calibration problem, that is probably set too bright. Make sure your monitor is properly calibrated and profiled and set to a moderate brightness. 90 to 120 cd/m2 , depending on room conditions, is usually a good value. Unless you meet these conditions is very difficult to get a good screen to printer match.
Another point to be careful about is the light you are using to view your prints. Remember that a print is a reflective medium, so too dim light and the prints will look overly dark.
