Digital editions 2 and 3 crashes when trying to return ebooks to library. I'm on Windows 8.

I uninstalled Editions 3 and downloaded Editions 2 again. Now it does not crash anymore, but gives me an error message saying: "Error returning item. License server communication problem: E_BAD_LOAN_ID.

Can anyone assist with this?
