    Problems enabling Cuda

      Hey all,

So I have a Nvidia Quadro 4000 and can not get Cuda to be activated in after effects or Premiere. I recently reformatted my machine and have clean installs of all my software and operating system. I found videos on youtube etc showing you to open the raytracer_supported_card.txt and add your card manually however my card is already on the list. I don't really know what else to do I have all the latest drivers for cuda, nvidia and adobe cc2015.

Please help!!! Motion designer in need

Do you use the ray-traced renderer in AE? If not, don't worry about it for AE - that's pretty much the only thing AE uses CUDA for. (And the ray-traced renderer is considered obsolete anyway.) GPU (CUDA, OpenGL) features in After Effects

Do you have a second graphics processor? Many machines have one built into the motherboard and that needs to be turned off in the BIOS.

Also, we know nothing about your computer. We don't even know if it's Mac or Windows...
