I have an AS3 analog clock, and each hand is a symbol consisting of a single .png (lossless, no smoothing). When it rotates, it uses some kind of smoothing interpolation. I would like to have it use a nearest neighbor interpolation. Is this possible?
So we're seeing the same thing, on the left is the image I'm using for a hand, the middle is the hand as it rotates as it is, and the right is what I would like the hand to look like as it rotates.
stage.quality="low" will achieve that, even if the library item is set to use smoothing.
This works, but comes at the cost of the whole stage losing quality. And unless it's the wrong way to go about it
clock.quality = "low";
doesn't seem to work.
