Unable to install Creative Cloud Apps on Mac OS X El Capitan

Is there a known compatibility problem of the Creative Cloud apps / desktop and OS X El Capitan ?

I am able to install and sign-in to the Creative Cloud desktop but it keeps saying "This installation is no longer functional. Uninstall and download the latest version". Although what I have installed is the latest.

I tried this multiple times but without any success. As a result, I am unable to install ANY APP from the Creative Cloud store.

Screenshot is attached. If anyone has any solution or work-around, it would be extremely helpful as I badly need to use PS and LR.
