    "Check Activation" Error can not be solved

      After replacing hard drives, I get an "Error! Check Activation". The recommended cure of de-authorizing and then re-authorizing does not work because ADE does not accept my password - neither the old one, nor a new one after a password reset. Yet I can log into this forum without problems.
