Indesign seems to be sensitive to multitasking when its in workload.
Im not the user of Indesign so I would need to ask for further details on demand.
What I tried so far is deleting the preference file which didnt help.
Without providing any information about your computer platform, InDesign version, and any further information about when crashing happens, there's really not much we can offer.
Sorry forgot the most important information OS is Windows 8.1 with latest updates, Indesign Version is 220.127.116.110. According to the user the error itself occurs at any task, the only hint is the "sensitivity" when working with multiple programs (The chance for the crash seems to be higher at multitasking, like word, excel or browsers)
