Is there a way to automatically enable lens profile corrections without having to open the lens correction tab and check "Enable Lens Profile Corrections" each time a new photo is opened in Adobe Camera Raw? I have a Canon 6D camera with 24-105 mm lens. Thank you for any help.
Start with a raw image which doesn't have any settings.
Open the image in Camera Raw.
Go to the tab and tick the box.
Click the fly-out menu on the right of the panel title bar.
Select 'Save New Camera Raw Defaults'.
This makes the current settings (i.e. nothing plus the tick box) the new defaults.
I have a few other things set on my set-up, like Exposure offset, different sharpening settings, CA correction, etc. If you want something similar, just make the required changes on an undeveloped image, and select the new defaults option.
Thank you very much! This is just what I needed to know.
