    purging old AdobePatchFiles

In my Mac applications folder is a folder called Adobe and in it are several folder, one of which is called AdobePatchFiles. In that folder are lots of ZIP files and folders loaded with files. A spot check shows many going back to 2012. The folder contains nearly 1,200 files taking up 1.5 GB of space. That is using 1.5 % of my primary drive!

Can these files be purged? I doubt there is a necessity of having that many patches.

A typical file name is an unbelievable name like 7B41BFF2C7-9F45-4CF3-A257-E80E14802157%7D/1dff214376519728f616249d0a448fdb
