The PSU is way too small. Go for at least 800W. The memory is only tested at 1.35V but the SPD specs say 1.20V. You may have some problems with that. Another reason to get a bigger PSU.
You need a CPU cooler. Only 16 GB memory in combination with a 970 video card is not ideal. Better go for 32 GB. The case is only a mid tower. Better get a big tower. Only a single HDD for almost everything is not very fast.
Read Tweakers Page and the articles there.
I hear you merchant but I'm on a slight budget. There are so many towers out there with as well. I don't know what to choose. I was looking on Newegg. Also do I need a cpu cooler if the tower already has fans built into it?
I'm trying to build this on a slight budget so I was going to do one 512 ssd and a 4tb hd.
After your recommendation I found this power supply and also these towers. What are your thoughts?

If you want your processor to last longer than a few hours, dying from overheating, you definitely want a good cooler, like Noctua. Count on $ 80 plus thermal paste.
Look at Planning a NLE System for some background on how to build a PC and look at the various pages under the Latest News menu, since you obviously have never done that. It is dated info, but the approach, considerations and things to consider have not changed at all.
For big cases, look at Lian Li, Fractal Design or similar. NEVER skimp on a good PSU. Recommended is 800+ W without taking capacitor aging into account. Corsair and Seasonic have good PSU's. See eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
