I have Adobe Shape CC on my phone --- love the potential of the app but I have an older version of Illustrator at home so I can't get to my library. I have an up-to-date version of Illustrator at work and I understand I should just "share" my library with my work computer/account but alas, we are prohibited from doing this at my workplace. Is there a way that I can old school/manually share these Shape files? PLEASE!!!
I'm really sorry but there's just no way to import Shapes into older versions of Illustrator; the app saves to Libraries that are available only in the latest Creative Cloud versions of the desktop apps. You can bring Shapes into Adobe Illustrator Draw, but that doesn't help you either because ultimately you'd need to be able to send that file to Illustrator CC as well.
This is a feature a lot of people have been requesting; I'm just not certain if it will ever be incorporated into the Shape CC.
Wish I could be of more help.
